JavaMaster Pro Privacy Notice
This notice explains the limited information processed when you use the JavaMaster Pro website, download the application, contact the project, or use the desktop application's online features.
1. Operator and contact
JavaMaster Pro is operated by Evander Sterling in Türkiye. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to [email protected].
2. Website delivery, security, and server logs
The website and download infrastructure use Cloudflare services, including Cloudflare Pages, a Worker, and R2 object storage. These services may process ordinary request information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP address, date and time, requested host and path, browser or user-agent information, response status, and security or abuse signals.
Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent these ordinary hosting, download, update, or security records. JavaMaster Pro does not use them for advertising.
3. Essential website error diagnostics
On approved production hosts, Sentry may receive sanitized technical error reports so broken pages and failed website operations can be diagnosed. Before analytics consent, Sentry is limited to errors and related technical context. It is not assigned a persistent visitor ID, successful performance traces are not sampled, and Session Replay and Sentry logs are not enabled.
Reports may include the error type and stack, normalized route, page category, application release, deployment environment, browser family, device category, active feature variants, and a temporary in-memory diagnostic reference. Query values, form contents, input values, cookies, authorization data, and arbitrary page text are removed before transmission. The Sentry project is configured not to store IP addresses.
4. Optional website analytics
PostHog is initialized only after you accept optional analytics. It is used to understand acquisition, page and navigation behavior, engagement, screenshots, downloads, retention, experiments, and the product impact of Web Vitals. Optional analytics is not required to use the website or download JavaMaster Pro.
Events may contain normalized routes, page categories, referrer domain and category, approved UTM campaign values, browser and operating-system families, device category, viewport size, language, website release, visit number, locally derived returning-visitor stage, exact interaction timing, active time, scroll depth, stable section or screenshot identifiers, and controlled navigation or call-to-action identifiers. Generic click autocapture and PostHog Session Replay are disabled. JavaMaster Pro does not intentionally send uncontrolled link text, page text, form values, feedback, names, email addresses, or tokens to PostHog.
The PostHog project is configured to discard IP data and not retain raw IP addresses.
5. Pseudonymous PostHog and Sentry linking
After consent, PostHog creates a random persistent browser identifier. JavaMaster Pro may supply that same identifier to Sentry as a pseudonymous user ID. This helps show whether a returning website visitor encountered a related error. The identifier is not intentionally based on or combined with a name, email address, desktop installation ID, hardware identity, or JavaMaster Pro account. JavaMaster Pro does not use browser fingerprinting to reconstruct deleted browser state.
6. Cookies and browser storage
javamasterpro.analytics.consentremembers your analytics choice in local storage.- After consent, PostHog uses its project-scoped cookie and local-storage entry for its distinct ID, session/device information, feature flags, and registered event properties. Its cookie is configured for up to 365 days.
javamasterpro.analytics.lifecycle.v1keeps local visit counts and prior interaction counters used to create aggregate returning-visitor reports.- A random
page_instance_idexists only for one page lifecycle and is not persisted across pages. - Consented download measurement sends limited pseudonymous context in a form POST directly to the download service. It does not create a separate download-intent cookie or place the analytics identifier in the download URL.
Browser storage can be cleared through Manage Analytics or browser controls. Private browsing, blocked storage, or another browser or device will appear as a different visitor.
7. Downloads and download logging
Download and release requests go to dl.javamasterpro.com. The service may receive
ordinary network information plus the requested release channel, version, Windows architecture,
and package type. A website click is not treated as proof that a file was successfully served.
With optional analytics consent, a bounded form POST may include the pseudonymous PostHog ID and
controlled click context. The download service redirects to the installer whether analytics is
accepted, unavailable, or fails to send.
8. Desktop application and update checks
The desktop application currently contains no usage analytics, advertising tracker, Sentry SDK, persistent installation identifier, or link to the website visitor identity. Automatic update checks are enabled by default and can be disabled in application settings. Update checks contact the JavaMaster Pro download host and reveal ordinary network information, the Windows runtime architecture, and the update-feed files requested. Update downloads contact the same service.
9. Java searches and downloads
When you search for or download Java distributions, the application may contact Foojay Disco, GitHub, SDKMAN, Oracle, and the selected distribution's download host directly. Requests may reveal ordinary network information and the requested operating system, architecture, distribution, Java version, or package. If you configure a GitHub access token, it is stored in Windows Credential Manager and sent directly to GitHub for applicable API requests; it is not sent to JavaMaster Pro servers.
10. Information kept on your device
Application settings, window state, configured installation roots, detected Java installations, file paths, update state, local application configuration, GitHub credentials, and local crash logs remain on your device unless you choose to share them. Local startup crash logs can contain technical stack traces and local paths. JavaMaster Pro does not upload them automatically.
11. Contact messages and external services
Email links open your chosen mail application. If you contact the project, Yahoo and your own email provider process the address, message, attachments, and delivery metadata you choose to send. Do not send passwords, access tokens, or unnecessary sensitive information. Routine messages remain in the project mailbox until Evander Sterling deletes them or Yahoo removes them. Privacy-request or other sensitive correspondence is intended to be deleted within 12 months after resolution unless it is still needed for a legal claim or obligation.
12. Retention
The consent preference remains until changed or browser storage is cleared. PostHog and local lifecycle identifiers remain until their configured expiry, withdrawal, or browser deletion. Provider-side analytics and diagnostics are kept for the standard retention period included with the applicable PostHog or Sentry account plan. Those periods may change if the provider or account plan changes. Data is retained only while useful for understanding website behavior, comparing releases, or diagnosing defects, subject to provider deletion capabilities and legal obligations. Cloudflare and external Java providers retain their own operational records under their respective terms.
13. Your controls and requests
Use Manage Analytics at any time to accept or reject optional analytics. Withdrawal stops future optional capture, clears locally maintained analytics state and the PostHog identifier where practical, and removes the Sentry pseudonymous user ID. It does not automatically erase events already received by a provider or unavoidable server logs.
You may contact the project to ask whether information about you is held, request correction or deletion where applicable, object to or restrict processing, or withdraw consent. Include only enough detail to locate the relevant record. Some essential diagnostic events may not be linkable back to a particular visitor.
14. Data use and changes
JavaMaster Pro does not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising. This notice may be updated when the website, desktop application, or providers change. Materially expanded optional analytics will use a new consent revision and will not start until renewed consent is given. If a previous substantive version is retained publicly, it will be clearly marked as superseded rather than presented as the current notice.
